SAWW Medical Director, Dr Roger Eltringham was honoured to meet HRH The Princess Royal, Patron of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), at the launch of a new learning resource e-SAFE: Safer Anaesthesia Education.
e-SAFE has been developed to support education in anaesthesia throughout the developing world. It has been funded and produced by the RCoA, the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) and e-Learning for Healthcare. The e-SAFE DVD contains training videos demonstrating safe anaesthesia practice, interactive learning sessions and an extensive library of reading materials.
The e-SAFE DVD is freely available and it can be used on local computers, without any need for internet access. It will be an invaluable resource to anaesthetists working throughout the developing world. For more information visit the RCoA website: http://www.rcoa.ac.uk/e-SAFE
